I couldn't wait and took the car around the block for a little taste test.

It's creepy plugging in the flashpaq (FP) with the car running.

What to do:
1. Start the vehicle
2. Plug the FP into the car
3. Select Diagnostics
4. Choose "data logging"
5. Choose measurement "time" or "distance"
6. Choose your 0-20 or 0-60 or 1/4 mile or 1/8 mile
........you must be stopped to hit begin
Hit it and measurements are taken on the choices above.

Quick Notes...
Time logging:
When the screen comes up with the MPH times click enter to select a test when the vehicle is stopped
The FP says "run will start when vehicle moves"
Then it will say "Got to starting line"
Hit it.

Distance:
Choose which program you want like 1/4 time
The FP will says "run to start test when vehicle moves"
Hit it.

All Distances recorded option - this stores previous run history even if FP is unplugged.
You can read the history when the car is not running.

***Not sure how many runs it will hold.

I'm sure there will be more to come...

What did you find out Mango? Does anyone think its real accurate yet? IMO i think it would be accurate unless you are on an upgrade,or downgrade.Im sure times would suffer a bit but not sure how much.

I haven't played since my last post so no real opinion yet. My significant other had surgery yesterday so I’ve done a lot of sitting around in the hospital.

Once soemone goes to the track and compairs the numbers we'll know how accurate it really is.

It's nice to have this capability just to do shadtree mods/comparisions. Not having to rely upon the seat-o-pants or a dyno is nice. We just have to remember that test conditions need to be close in order to provide accurate comparisons and this isn't a high end tool.

Left work early to pickup the little lady and had spare time to play.

Surface was flat, at least to the eye (all right a 20% downhill grade JK), temp 96+.

1/4 mile 13.97 @ 101 mph

0-60
...Run1 5.40
...Run2 5.24
...Run3 5.44

I would love to hit the track but will wait for the heat wave to pass. Will have real comparrisons then.

I would say you've got a pretty good car there, bud! A 13 second car in 96 degree weather is nothing to sneeze at, IMHO. Pretty good 0-60 times, too. Did ya spin the tires much?

Hey TX Mango,

I was waiting for you to post your SC times... and am very interested if the times are somewhat accurate. Getting 13.97 vs my 14.07 with a Jet 2 chip, but I used the G Tech Pro Accelerometer.

I think we both should hit the track and then compare after that.

Interesting stuff.

Thanks Tex.
