I got a phone call from my salesman. I'm going in Tuesday after work. We plan on taking another Charger on a test drive to see if it does the same thing as mine. He was quite surprised at this problem I'm having. I told him I got new tires, had it aligned at a Ford dealer, and he really wants to talk to me.

I believe you have everything on your side and being the diplomat that you are you will not have any problems conveying the issue.

I hope the stealership will step-up to that problem and make things good.

Dave sounds like to me you have their attention.SHOOT STRAIGHT

 

Make sure you go for a ride with the service manager in your car so that he can confirm the problem you have.
On prior visits to the dealer with two other vehicles of mine I explained the prob. they said the drove the vehicle several miles and could not duplicate the prob. When i got in the car to leave, problem still there , I got the manager to ride with , and showed him the problem..I finally got it fixed. These were on my 02/strarus r/t coupe and my 98/ ram Both are gone now.. now have02/ram and 06/ r/t charger all is good so far. best of luck to ya .. they dont make any money on warranty work . so usually they cant find the problem until your warranty is void and you are paying ca$h!!! My rant, sorry.

 

Dave we are to taking ours back this Friday. The woman still hears the squeak,it must be to high pitched 4 me to hear it.The Dealer called last week and asked if she still heard it.They also told us they would filler up with gas,and give us another car to drive if the cant find it while she is there.

Thanks, folks. If you hit, like a manhole cover that is sunk in the pavement a couple inches, act like it wants to yank the steering wheel out of your hands? This is at 30 mph. Maybe it's all me. But I do know they lied about checking the alignment, and who knows if they really checked the front suspension or not. Mine seems to ride awfully stiff for a stock R/T. The initial compression on the shocks and struts is way harsh. Even with the new tires. I saw another R/T this morning and SURPRISE it had the same Goodyears on it that I just put on mine. Think I'll look around the lot a bit before going in and see what I can see.
