Baldyloxs,

The clay bar is what Mango posted. It is amazing. I wash my car then dry it. I then spray a little showtime spray included in the kit on the car and rub the clay bar over it. I continue over the entire car. When finished, the car will have dried showtime all over it. You can rewash your car or spray a little show time on it again and buff off. I prefer to buff off the dried spray. It ends up being smoother and a whole lot easier. I swear by this stuff. I have a show finish on the Superbee. It has never had soap and water on it. I figured it never needed any kind of treatment because it sits under a cover and has never seen more than dust on it. I tried the clay bar on it and was shocked on how smooth the paint can out. After waxing it with Mequires Gold class wax it was even better. I prefer Meguires Gold class wax over the wax in the Mothers kit. Before I could leave a Microfiber towel sitting on the car, now the towel just slides off. As Mango said, Only use Mothers clay bar.

thanks guys sounds like a really good thing to use,now my next question. I have been having one hell of a time with waxes. They just smear when we take them off,not like the waxes 5 yrs ago where they would just rub off.We have tried turtle wax,Meguires it all smears .any ideas why?I usually wait it dry for 1 to 2 hrs before I take it off.

baldyloxs,

Try using the towels I mentioned. I never have any trouble. When wiping off the wax, take off the wax with one towel and use another to buff out the shine.

P.S. Maybe it's because your drooling on your car when waxing it[sm=tongue.gif][sm=Awwww.gif][sm=drooldude.gif]

Its midnight pearl black, and I am getting the GT kit installed. I originally wanted a Daytona, however the colors (red, orange, yellow) arent really my style, so went with R/T + GT Kit.

What exactly is the 'GT kit'?

Sounds like something you'd find on a Mustang....

Dress up your Charger and make it the hottest ride on the road. This package features everything you need such as a Daytona R/T-style Grille Insert, 17" Five-Spoke Chrome Wheels, Rear Spoiler, Cat-Back Exhaust System, Dual Chrome Exhaust Tips and Rear Fascia Air Diffuser

thats teh tidbit when you click on the "GT Kit" from building a Charger online. The RT already comes with the exhaust. Im unsure if there is a difference in grill, the main attraction for me is the spoiler/rear fascia. Ill post again later this week with it on.

Pics in the gallery are up with my super-aftermarket-looking flat black spoiler!!

On another note. PIAA Doesnt make an Xtreme-superwhite bulb for the Charger yet..the 9006XS or whatever seems to be unavailable. Wondering if someone more experienced than I could point me in the right direction of a similar beam bulb, that is DOT approved

Thanks in advance
