Hey TX, I have to admit I love the hood. Damn it's nice. But I need to think about being naked. But that's what makes us special and unique.

Plain Jane with a nasty hood... hmm...

Here's a different spin. How about a different color strip as an accent detail. Since you already have flat back graphics, what about doing the strips in a satin/flat black to break up the visual mass? It would tend to make the car appear lower and longer. You could put some electrical tape on the strips to see what it would look like. The tape now comes in different colors so you could experiment. I had thought about stainless or chrome against my dark blue but with the window tint, the all dark blue looks stealthy and the factory strips kinda disappear anyway.

Cool hood!

Do you think after almost a year there will be alot of dis-coloration,n do you think the clay will remove it ? The car is garaged 95% of the time it only sees sun about 1 hr a day on the average.

You shouldn't have any problem, just set aside some time to clay or polish the area's under the spears.

Give it a little time and a couple more clayings, it will come out.
