If there is a question about resonators and muffler location I can say that the 2 flowmaster 40’s I got installed sit where the suit case once was. The balloon things at the end of the tail pipe that had silver tips are now straight pipe and I added new tips (bigger stainless ones).

The drone is worth the hot rod sound. Car sounds wicker cool

Oh my gawd, resonufflers and muffonators...

Actually, and I'll look back, but I thought we had this settled, but new guys pop in and should get it right, but I'm tired of beating my head against the screen... LOL. For me, my kids keep reminding me this is a forum and not college!!! You know, you are right, (laugh) about what to call them. Personally, I'm giving up!

Dave B,

I wish I could hear that beast. I bet it sounds GREAT . Although, for me, the drone would be too much. But the sound would be great. But too loud. But a great sound. But.... [sm=teetertooter.gif]

It sounds like a true hot rod. The Dodge guys got it right with the exhaust design. That suit case architecture with the thingies at the end of the tail pipes really kept the cabin noise to a minimal and still gave the car a more than decent sound. The drone noise emanates right where the Flow masters are now installed which is right behind my front seats. I wouldn’t recommend this mod to all Daytona drivers. I just happen to come from the school of thought that my ride is an extension of my *****. Ha!

3796, When I get permission to paint mine Mango and put black Daytona stripes on it, maybe I'll be ready... LOL.

Unfortuneately, at my age, my Hemi is now an SXT...
