Default resonators and flowmaster 40's installed

I was just quoted $350 for the resonator chop and mufflers install. Is that a good price? I asked him to weld on the chrome tips to the flow masters.

??? The price is good, but I don't understand your locations of the install. The 40s would be put where the suitcase stock resonator is (that is where they would fit), and you'd have to chop off your rear stock mufflers and put pipe extensions, then chrome tips there.

I've been through all this myself, except I used Magnaflow. [&:]

Let us know how the sound and drone is after your do this.

I am going to chop the suit case out and heave them weld in straight pipe. Then cut the mufflers out and put in Flowmasters.

I know I am going to get kicked for asking this but the mufflers are laocted in the rear with the chrome tips on them..right??

Let me know if I am dong this wrong and I will call the shop back.

Resonators are in the back. Mufflers are the one big piece in the center of the car. It looks like a suitcase too!!

Your right shop put the mufflers where the suit case is and the resonators are in the back. These guys are pros and CONFIRMED 100% teh resonators are in the back.

Well, how does it sound? What about the dreaded "drone" when the MDS kicks in? Inquirying minds (and my little one) want to know.

Well, we have named the center section the "suitcase", what can we call the tailpipe section - how about the "stingers", or the big bulbous thingys, or resonufflers, or muffonators
