I finally took some pics of my car. How do I add them to my signature and posts like other members? I remember a thread on how to do this was presented a few weeks back?

3796, The signature I'm not sure about, I'm sure the admin will contact you.

For just posting, I shrink them down to 4x6 or so at 100 DPI. They only accept a certain amount of KB size. When you shrink them, be sure to sharpen them just a touch and the detail will keep crisp. Use the "Save As" when you are done, and put the photo where you can find it. (Don't just SAVE -- that will erase your original). Then at the bottom of the post area it says on the left "File" -- to the right it says "Upload more files" click on that, it will bring up a box and browse to your photo and upload it.

Marty,

I see your main (Charger) photo is 492 x 206 pixels and is a JPEG file. However, your signature file is a GIF file. Any reason for the GIF file over the JPEG file? I know normally a GIF file will show motion.

Marty,

I right clicked on your signature photo and the properties file says GIF Image. I am assuming you saved it as such. Since it's only 100 x 100 pixels, it doesn't matter. I know there are different settings for JPEG reduction (compression size), but I don't know about GIF compression. Looks like it is working!
