damn check engine lite keeps coming on
Well...hum...yea... I would say that was a deal.
Not sure where that was going but my coated Dynatech's were also a grand, shipping was tossed in free. I wish installation was free

That would be a good idea. Use the on board code reader to pull the code - move the key to off then quickly turn on-off-on-off-on (don't start the engine) and enjoy the light show. It will show the codes in the odometer readout and display "done" when finished. If there are no codes (highly unlikely at this point) you will get horizontal bars. "Google" the code if you don't have a reference nearby. At least this way you know whether you are on the right track or not.

well ok here are some updates codes i have not checked yet because my father who is a mechanic is on vaction in italy and wont be back untill mon but ,since he isnt going to be in a fun mode and ill already have to bug him to fix my dipstick problem, hopfully ill get the snapon machine out and hook it up myself and see.but ive got this interesting development i detached the battery again to reset the computer but also removed the vortex tornado in the cold air intake tube and so far 1 week has gone by and the light hasnt gone on yet so maybe its the problem .What a waste i cant believe i wasnted a good 20 bucks on that piece of crap.oh well live and learn.the moral of that story is dont buy snake oil.
BTW...
Today a friend and me fix his 300c that was getting O2 CELs due to headers. We picked up NonFoulers at O'Reillys, four 42009 and two 42002. The difference between them is 42002 is longer than the 42009. See pics.
On the rear O2 Sensor a 42002 was drilled with a 1/2†drill bit and O2 Sensor was put into this one and then put the 42002 then into a 42009 then into the exhaust..
Rear O2 Sensor:
O2 Sensor into a 42002 (drilled out)
The O2 Sensor and 42002 into a 42009
The O2 Sensor/42002/42009 was put into the bung on the exhaust pipe.
On the front O2 Sensor a 42002 was drilled out (not all the way but almost) and the O2 Sensor was put into this one then into the exhaust.
Front O2 Sensor:
O2 Sensor into a 42002 (drilled out, but not all the way)
The O2 Sensor/42002 was put into the bung on the exhaust pipe.
Be sure to use anti-seize on the threads so they will come out easy when/if the need arises. You will need a 7/8†open end wrench.
