Default just did some runs with the flashpaq numbers are interesting

ok first its about 75 degrees roads are cold not race track sticky about sea level.and here are the runs i got on the flashpaq down load.......did 3 runs on each catagory
first catagory is sports program second is performance program
automatic automatic
0-60 0-60
6.03 6.69
6.02 6.34
6.05 6.14
autostick autostick
6.01 6.44
5.98 6.34
5.92 6.14
the 1/4 mile sports program the quater mile performance program
automatic automatic
14.67 @96 14.94@ 94
14.69@97 14.72@97
14.47@97 14.54@97
1/4 mile sports program 1/4 mile performance program
auto stick autostick
14.78@97 14.63@94
14.96@96 14.72@97
14.62@97 14.94@94

ok i realize there are lot of things missing warmer days not warming the tires not have a sticky track.i realize that but i figured i would give it a once around to see whats there to have some sorta of a point of reference.i still have a few things to put on ,like the hood and the royal purple .and the 180 thermo stat .the engine began running into the 240-245 range .there all ordered except the oil ive already got it just waiting a few more miles before changing it.hood will be here next week and the thermo by the end of this week.so once there done ill give it another spin and see what happens then.
so to give it a quick recap and some notes.the best 1.4 mile i did was in automatic on sports setting (14.47) and the 0-60 was also in automatic in the sports program at 5.92 also when the engine was in the 180-190 range....... i was a little down on the 1/4 mile numbers 0-60 was decent but ill have to go to a real track and se what happens but this at least tells me what direction im going in .......

It looks like the headers dont really make a difference? Headers cost about a $1000 if not more. I would have thought high 13's with your list of mods.

3767,

Uff Da. I would have expected faster with all your mods and the super duper Super Chip.

( I am running a 14.07 with a Jet 2 chip, K&N and else stock).

Seriously, I would expect you to run harder.

Are you leaning out??

I agree with you Mnboy. I have not run my car at a track but I used to own a 2002 Mustang Gt with just a CIA only and the car ran high 14's. My Charger feels much faster than than and all I ahve done is the CIA and some monor exhuast work.

I find it interesting that your best times were garnered with the auto in "sports" mode as opposed to the "performance" mode. What rpm were you shifting at when it was in auto stick mode.

i was shifting at 5800 rpm the tires did some peeling out before going forward not a lot but maybe enough to ad a 1/2 second or so but the thing with he flashpaq is that it gives you the start time from the secon you go forward not pass a line.the numbers where supposed to be side by side representing 2 columns 1 sports and the other performance they must have gotten shifted a litte when they hit the website.in the 1/4 i only got to 3rd gear in auto stick and i was shifting at 5800 rpm the prformance program was weird because when you hit a certain rpm in autostick it over revded and killed the run.then when you shifted there was a slight lag in getting moving again was i was less then happy with the performance maybe i am running lean.but im gonna go dino it after the next mods i do and see if i am running lean im gonna be going to my dept driving course ,maybe i can get some better numbers there .

With the modd's you have you have you should be deep deep into the 13's. A time of 14.4 is like what stock R/T's run, have seen a stock charger hit a 14.2 And if you don't dyno over 300-310HP I would be very surprised. And whats the reason for the 180 Thermo Stat?

me too im a little bit puzzled im sure there is a reason ill figure it out soon enough.as for the thermostat i havent installed it yet its still in the possesion of usps service.kinda like the camshaft of mangointx which is currently being held hostage by fedex.the thermostat is recommended by jet chip so ill give it a shot ,what about this theory, since i havent run the car for a while with the 2 ubits the comp hasnt united yet good enough to do the best in performance calculations.could i need some more running around time to get them to gelling like maggellan ,funny commercial by the way..

3767,

Hey. Enough BS. If you say you have certain mods, and post them like they are in/on the car, fine. Telling us 5 posts later you're not telling us truthfully is bunk... it is very confusing to tell what you are running and what you are SAYING you are running! (ie, 180 degree thermostat is in the mail... not on the car...).

Now I'm the one puzzled!
