TIMES SUCK
IXLR8 is right. If you can, figure your DA. I thought my times were bad until we figured that the engine thought we were at over 7600 feet. Still, you beat the heck out of me
. Your RT wasn't bad considering you've never done this before. The start is always kind of a guessing game. You have to learn to start before the light turns green. How much before is just a timing game. I try to count in my head and when the last yellow light comes on, I want to go. I need to practice that more and more. I think you did good!

It is not altlitude, it is Density Altitude that matters
here are some examples
Alt 600 Air Temp 85 Barometric Prssure 29.02 Dew Point 77 = Density Altitude of 3841 ft !
Alt 600 Air Temp 55 Barometric Prssure 29.97 Dew Point 35 = Density Altitude of 511 ft !
Current conditions in Joliet are:
Alt 600 Air Temp 54 Barometric Prssure 29.80 Dew Point 49 = Density Altitude of 698 ft !
As you can see the altitude the engine sees can vary by 3500 ft or MORE at the same point.

I would have been thrilled with those times. He might gain .2 with a little practice, but those are still good times. Even the "Mustang" gang at the dealership where my son works thinks my times were very respectible. Remember, our Chargers are heavy (with a capital "H").
