Default I WAS IMPRESSED TONIGHT

My stealer called tonight and told me with the give backs and price cut i could by a daytona for 31000 loaded. he had the only red one in nj I could fine.
Well me and the wife drove it and she pooped her draws. first time I drove one. even though my name is on the list for a green 07. Well that car does run.
And the exhause sounded sweet for factory. question do the all bog, I rolled throught a light and punched it, she grawled up to 30 mph boged them squated and launched like a cat.
Is this normal or was I to hard on a new car?

My guess was that it was the ESP retarding the throttle. Unless the car is going perfectly straight, and I do mean PERFECTLY. The Yaw sensors will think you are sliding, and the computer will retard the throttle a little, to find out no matter what your foot is asking. These cars have a 'Throttle by wire' meaning that there is no cable running from the pedal to the throttle body, the computer does it all. The effect can be lessened, by first pressing the ESP button. and looking for the lighted squiggly symbol in the rightmost gauge, indicating it is somewhat off.

There is not any noticible 'boost' like you feel on 4 valve cars, where the power is all in the top end. The Daytona has a nice kick down low, better than most cars. There is more torque available at 1000rpm in a Daytona then many cars make at all.

Mine still does it ,even if I am going straight. It is like the car took too big a gulp of air and then she just fires like a bat out of hell. Almost to the pt where It feels like I am going to lose her. A lot of HP I just thought it was normal.

Any thoughts?
