I haven't kept up with this stuff myself but would also love to know. We got the resources on the form that could provide good details.

What radar technologies are being used now days and any recommendations on how to equip our Chargers to be stealth ticket avoiding machines (Ha... besides lowering the top end limiter)?

If you REALLy want to feel safe, then there is only one... The Valentine One. I have been running it since 1994 when I bought my 911. They offer a generous upgrade program, refitting the shell with all new electronics when released. I have had mine updated twice and it is still better than anything anyone has shown me since.

Drawback? the price... $450.00 My total investment $400 + $220 1st upgrade + $200 2nd upgrade = $820 for 12 years of ticket free driving.

There is NOTHING better. After owning a Porsche 911, Porsche 928, Acura CL, 2 Supercharged Grand Prix GTP's, and now the Daytona, still NO TICKETS.

<I just jinxed myself, didn't I...>

The Escort Passport 8500 XP is an excellent radar/laser detector. I can smell the bacon for miles away with it.

jcivicsi00,

Forget everything else and fork up the money for a real radar defender -- the legendary Valentine One. Sure it costs money, but it is absolutely the best out there.

Of course, any detector is useless if you don't think behind the wheel. But, in a time when you are just slightly inattentive, it will save you.
