Dodge Charger The Dodge Charger. The car that made its competitors shiver in the 60's is reborn in 2006 into a sleek sedan that can still send the competition home wimpering, the Dodge Charger.

STEWTINA THATS WEIRD I HAD MINE UP TO 132 AND STILL PULLING BUT I HAD TO SLOW DOWN DO TO TRAFFIC. I WAS RACING A VET ON THE ROLL HE HAD SOMETHINGS DONE. HE HAD ME BY TWO CARS BECASUE WE WAS ROLLING THREW THE LIGHT AT 30 WHEN I WAS SITTING AT IT WAITING FOR IT TO CHANGE. HE HIT IT RIGHT AT GREEN . I JUST ABOUT CAUGHT HIM AT 120 RANGE AND THEN HE SLOWED DOWN TO GET READY FOR A TURN AND I KEEPED IT FLOORED TO FLY BY HIM IN HIS TURN. LIKE I SAID AT 132 THEN HAD TO SLOW BECAUSE OF TRAFFIC. IT SURE FELT LIKE IT HAD MORE. DO YOU HAVE THE ROAD TRACK AND TRAIL PACK? MAYBE THATS THE DIFFERENCE. THANKS.

You did good with that Vet, a couple car lengths isn't bad whey you compare HP and weight. That was probably a low end Vet you tangled with or they it was toying w/you

On a previous subject... I'll get some GSM fan mod pics tonight and post up.

we don't have road and track although we beat one by a 1/2 car link the minor mods had to help me. and i have kept up with an srt. If we could only get the limiter off i could see what this would do on sraight and flat roads here although we are near 3800 ft.

its seemed like my charger was rejuvenated. maybe i am exaggerating but when i floored it, it felt as if the front end was coming off of the ground. only probably is the cold weather in south texas lasts just as long as the temporary lower gas prices

Wow, what difference the cold weather makes !! Any morning now I can roll on the throttle and leave two black stripes just about as long as I like. If I do not use HAL, it is hard NOT to leave stripes. However to be fair, they do NOT smoke like Dave's tires.

Dave, I have always wanted to see the rest of the smoking tires picture. There is a rumour that your front bumper is actually against a wall... Is that true?

Also, I have noticed a fair bit of increase in power by leaving the engine cover off. Has anyone else noticed this?

Youre talking bout the bottom one? I thought it may help keep that motor cooler with more air flowing around it .

well i also had a thought on cooling down since the tranny oil runs through the radiator, if you got a heavy duty tranny cooler and had the oil run into it instead of the radiator ,couldnt that help keep the radiator a little cooler since that extra heat isnt going through it ? just a though .oh p.s is 40 degrees out you wanna talk brisk mornings .this time of year its cold all the time excellent weather for peeling tires wouldnt know though im carless[>:]
