Default 2006 Charger missing

My Charger has a K&N intake and the resanators cut out. When first start it up of a morning it misses. I know cars very well and have 4 and I know a miss when I hear one. After the car warms up to its tempeture, no miss at all. Let it set the night and missing all over again.
But when it is warmed up it runs great. Anyone had this problem? Hard to take to the dealer when engine is cold. Someone give me a clue. thanks syswayne

Did the miss start hppening out of blue?

No codes, no weird lights on the dash (like abs...)?

A true miss will set a misfire code per cyl as well as multiple missfire code if more than 1. My car has always had sort of a rough idle when cold usually 40 degrees and below. My dodge ram did the same thing in the winter months. No idea what causes it though.

I have an OBII and checked for Codes and nothing. I just like a spark plug is missing when cold.
Hard to figure out and I have even built engines, but nothing like this I have came across.
I really idle's rough when cold, but give it about 10 minutes driving and smoths out great and runs great.
thanks for all your reply's. Wayne

Wayne, has it done it from "day one"? Now that it's a bit colder in the mornings, mine seems to idle a bit rough (kind of like the sound, though - kind of lumpy - like me ). It drives away fine and warms up quickly and everything seems fine. Maybe its just the nature of our beasts? Sorry couldn't be of more help.

Ours is kinda like that at times really no performance issues with it. Maybe you got some crappy gas,or have an exhaust leak?

Sorry so late on reply, but have been in the Hospital. Doing fine now. Yes this miss is at cold start has been here from day one and is still there. Someone said it could be some kind of over night compression build up and when it gets warm it is gone.
I just don't like a car ideling rough when you start it up when I have spent this much money on one. Don't get me wrong I love the car a lot better than my 350Z. Thanks for your replys, Wayne
