I was "crusing" around in Albuquerque last night when this "kid" comes flying past me in a 300M (dad's car?). Just as we got to a stop light, it turned red. He slammed on his brakes and backed up. I told the lady that was with me, "This guy wants to race me". So, I "slap-sticked" her into 1st and waited. The light turned green and I got on it enough to just spin the tires for a second, then backed off and waited. I waited, and waited and waited. I knew he was going to go, but couldn't tell if he was already on it, or waiting to get his speed up before "going". Finally, I saw his fender raise up a bit as he either got into his power band, or he finally mashed it. I didn't hesitate, but hammed it full down, WOT. My engine roared and "poof", he was no where in sight. I hit second and all I could see were his headlights disappearing quickly in my rear view mirror. That's all he wanted. He made a U-turn and went back the way we'd just come.

I know, not like "killing" a mustang or something, but this "kid" needed a lesson, and the R/T sure gave him one . The lady that was with me thought it was soooo much fun!

Anyway, just thought I'd pass this along.

No, we're just friends, at least as far as I'm concerned. She's a very cute girl, but considerably younger than I. It might not matter much right now, but someday it would - I know someone (my "special" someone) who was in the same situation - husband was much older than she. But, you never know.

Of course you'll win. I drive a 300M and it's pretty slow and there's no performance aftermarket backing it so, I'm pretty much stuck with a slow 4 door family sedan. At least it looks good. Next car will be a V8 Sports car, manual trans only. Anything else is a waste of my money.



I'd love to see a race between a 2006 Nissan 350Z and a Charger R/T. 300Z is a 3.5V6 (like the 300M) but it's RWD and built to run.

 

Who cares v6,v10,4cyl he wanted to race could have been twin turbo as far as scamp knew.It was put up or shut up .

i had a stock cobalt rev it up at me and want to race. so i blew his doors off. i dont feel bad hes the dumb as* tring to race me. just like the 300 did to 74scamp. i wont back down from anything vet, viper, its all in fun. if you cant stop at the next light and say nice car good race your a baby and shouldnt be hooking up your car!!!!
