Default Remote cooling systems- Stupid Questions?

I don't usually ask the stupid questions, but I value your knowledge and views..

I've read what I could on the use of fan bypass and lower temp thermostat, but I'm not able to find anything on electric water pumps to match up with the fan service. I know I've seen them advertised in the past, "HiVolume Electric Waterpump" but I'll be * if I can find any reference to one for the new model units. Am I looking in the wrong place? Someone decide they were a baad plan? If I can cool the rediator and somewhat the engine, wouldn't I want to push water through the journals and radiator? If all the fan bypass does is to operate when standing between races, Wouldn't I be saving money and being as effective to simply lift the hood and let the heat rise & dissapate that way??

I'll appreciate someone straightening me out on this one.
Thanx

I think that may be the kicker, their not made heavy enough to be put onto a daily driver. If the car isn't your daily driver it would probably work but I wouldn't take a cross country trip with it.
