Yuck, their playing by the book on this issue.

I may have an inside track on this. When I was replacing the valve stem keepers lost during the cam install I sopke to a local dealership's service manager. As we talked about what I was doing he was very interested in the CAM swap and other mods that were done to my car. I need to follow-up with him and take him for a drive in the car, then inquire about that TSB.

Long story short, if your lucky enough to be in an area that has mutiple dealerships, shop around for a dealership that will work with you on this. You gota play the game.

I went to the dealer today for an oil change and to have them do the flash. 1st he couldn't find the tsb then reentered it and found it. 2nd He said the notorious it needs a check engine light. and i told him to do it anyways but he wanted to charge me 70.00 because there was no check engine light. Of f course i showed him the other things the readout below the speedo and he had never seen it before. Any ways it didn't get done this time but if any one could tell me of getting around the money or get the light to come on it sure would be helpful.

Well if you lived in Indiana I would fix you up. Some dealers will play by the book. I will let you know when the TSB gets modified for this fix. They are working on that right now.

HI guys MY charger is an 06 and the thread mention build dates in 05? am I correct but im haveing the same problem and I think it could be the cold air induction? Ran my 3 rd street run today on the highway and when I jumped on her at the line, hal gulped in the air it boged and aprx 2/3 seconds it jumped like a scalled cat and left rubber. The young boy running a new sport dakota with all the fancy wheel flairs spoilers got a bad spanking. Anyway do you think the CAI is gulping to much air im only running mopar car backs aka borla.

That is great news. Maybe I can complain about a made up check engine light issue and see if they will do the flash.

My dealer sux and the only other one in 15 miles away.
