well it is time for me to say goodbye to my daytona, i was wondering what you guys think a dealership will give me for my trade top banana with 6.000 miles and exhaust intake chip tint i no that really dont add up but, or what should i sell it for in a private sale just wondering. im letting her go because money is tight and i do own the car so i mean i would like to get almost what i paid for it i paid 27999. so we will see just give me some imput thanks nick

 

Sorry to hear but i have ben there and understand i have been off work for a month maternity leave but going back soon. I know this sounds bad but how much for the flashpaq. Our dealerships here are ripoffs soif yours are like ares don't let them steal it from you. Whaer are you in illinois?

You drive yours in the snow if so how does it handle but still how much for programmer email me if you want to on price. We have family in Kankakee, Momence, and Peoria. Thats why i was asking. Also got caught in a blizzard north of Chicago near milwalkee a couple of decembers ago on our way to the U.P. (michigan)

 

mapson02 - sorry to hear about all this. I actually got mine as an "investment" if you will. I had planned on paying it off early, so if I needed extra money for whatever reason, I would have some "liquid" property. Hopefully, things will turn around for you before you actually have to "sell" her, but if not, please, feel free to visit us here and let us know how things are going.

I have no idea what your car should bring. Have you tried Kelly Blue Book on-line? That should give you an idea.

You’ll probably want to sell the chip individually. Of course the exhaust and tint probably have to stay w/the car unless you saved the stock exhaust parts.

For best resale price you need to sell to another individual.

 

The Dealer is going to rape you on price but they are always willing to buy. So if you are strapped they will buy at Auction value which is about 25% lower than you paid.

If you sell privatly you can usually cut the loss in 1/2.

that does suck. the dealer will kill you on a trade. are you going to trully trade it in for another car or just have them buy it from you? if your not looking at another car they wont give you near what its werth. if you are looking at another car you will have a little better opiton on what you get for yours. good luck hope we could help you. i would always try to private sell first!!!!!!

 

ah damn dude sorry to hear it ,yeayh your gonna get rapped at the dealer as the extras go your better of selling them seperatly heck they may even try to devalue it even more because it isnt stock,definently try privatly first.if you consign it to them you may luck out .but if its a sale your looking for and not picking up another car they will rape you for sure.you may as well walk into the dealership with no pants on and a jar of vasaline to help the pain go away.not trying to be mean just giving you the heads up.if you can ask if they would be willing to put it on consignment.
