Glad to hear they got her painted well for you.

 

i had a deer run out on me a few weeks ago and i had to get the paint matched. i was out of town at the time and all of the local shops there said they could match it. i tried the one with the best reputation but it was pretty off. i ended up taking it to the dealer to get it matched.

 

I can't imagine what a deer would do to these cars. What was replaced on the car?

 

well luckily for me, the deer ran from the middle of highway (from the driver side) and I slowed down enough that it knicked him on the edge of the passenger side. It cracked my bumper, broke my right (passengerside) fog light, knock the windshield wiper fluid container loose (couldnt clean the bugs off for awhile) knocked loose the black piece underneath the finder directly about the tire. I had to rig it up so it wouldnt rub the rest of the way home. it also had the wire that goes to the fog light bulb dragging. had to rig that up as well. my insurance company thought i hit a curb or something until they looked close and saw a bunch of deer hair caught in between the cracks in the lower right part of the bumper. i was pretty lucky though that it hit were it hit, because it could have done major harm to me and more importantly the car (lol j/p)
