I took it to get the trunk lid fixed - someone had keyed it. Talked to the guy today and he said the Dupont paint he used really, really matched up well (Silver Steel Metalic). Hopefully, he's right. I've ordered a spoiler for it as well, and I'm thinking about a hood scoop like "billyd", the car dealer, has on his GoManGo.

That silver metalic is HARD to match. We are getting complaints that the front facia and rear bumpers are a different color. It is the material that makes it look like a different color. I hope they are able to do a good job for you. The spoilers look great on the Charger. I just installed a spoiler and hood scoop on a customers black RT last week and he Loves it.

I hate to hear when some one keys a vehicle. I had a buddy at work , his car was keyed by a 16 girl and he mother stood by and watched her do it and didn`t stop her. They thought it was her daughter`s ex boyfriends vehicle. Well he called the cops and they were there in record time.Both he and the cops suprised the heck out of those two. He filled charges on them and because the daughter is a minor , the old lady has to pay[sm=loser.gif].
I had a truck keyed and it made me sick - so I feel your pain.

My TB daytonas paint is off when I wash her. I can see the bumper doesnt match the fenders when the car is wet.

When she is dry its really hard to notice. Any ideas?

 

Well, I'm back and it loos great! He used DuPont paint and literally, I cannot tell a difference. He said to wait 30 days before waxing, and that will "polish" her up a bit more. But for the price, I can't complain at all. Looks absolutely like factory paint.

I know you get are really temperamental if you DONT get 27 plus on Gas mileage.
