Assuming that DMX uses the same technology for this sort of stuff across the board, the sensitivity of the TPM can be adjusted by the dealer. The cold definitely wreaks havoc with the monitor. If you have a car that dings when there is a minor problem like this (i.e. my Wife's Town and Country) you will be motivated to find answers. The Dealership made an adjustment and now: no annoying sensor problems. I suggested this to my dad and he had the same adjustment made with positive results.

Of course, the tires may run flat and never set a code -- I don't know -- but I've made it this long the old fashioned way. I couldn't live with the constant warning when the temp dipped below 35-40 or so.

I had 29lbs in each tire. i guess they are sensative. Got 35 in them, its drive like a dream, no pull.
