Default Problems with R/T

Have a few ?'s. I put in a Jet Performance Mod this morning and the increase in power is insane, but now I can't get my auto up window feature to work. Could installing the Mod have deleted a code and is there something i can do to reverse this. The other question is there anyone out there that is having problems with there sound system going to all static no matter if it is a cd, sat radio, FM/AM radio. I got my r/t in August and this problem started the first night i had it. The dealer can't figure out what is going on. I have taken it in numerous times and they have replaced the radio head unit and that didn't work. They have a amp and wiring harness on order but it has been backordered until sometime in Feburary. Seven months with this problem I am does not make me happy at all [:@]. If any one may know what is going on and how to fix these problems let me know.

Brian

Welcome to the forum hemi2nv.

Your auto window feature needs to be calibrated after battery disconnect. Here are the steps:
1. Press the switch to raise the window all the way to the top.
2. Hold the switch in position for 1 second.
3. Press the switch to lower the windows all the way down.

Sorry not sure about the static issue.

Do you have to disconnect the battery when installing the Jet2 chip?

Also do I ahve to put the 180 degree thermo in?

I would disconnect the battery before installing the JetChip. As you probably know, the lower T-Stat is recommended by Jet but I don't think you really need it. It’s not going to over heat.

I ran the JetChip stock for a while then put in a 190. I switched to a 180 after getting the SC Flashpaq.

Do you like the SChips better than the Jet2?

Yes, but you have to weigh what you may do in the future against what you want today.

There's not much more I can do for HP w/o a custom tune. I'd like to see some available from SuperChips but there's nothing yet.
