Default Lowering the car

Has any tried the lowering springs to lower their car? I am interested in lowering mines when I put my 22's back on. Any insight would be helpful. If you can see by this dark picture how high the car is from the rims.

Geez! What size tires are those? Almost no sidewall at all. I think Mango has put Eibach springs on his and is very happy with them. Actually, I think he put complete Eibach coil overs on his. Perhaps he'll see this and chime in. I'm not sure if they lowered his any further than stock height though.

Forgot to ask, since I'm a rookie here and with cars too, how do you smoke your tires like that?

[sm=funnypostabove.gif] And I have cases, and cases of them

First, find a nice safe area. Then, turn off traction control. Next, pull her into slap stick mode and into first gear. Then, step on the brakes and start applying throttle. The front brakes will hold it and the back tires will brake loose.

BUT - be sure you're in a safe place to do this. Some can, and some have trouble with it. Time and experience will teach you

I do have some cheap smoke bombs

I put KW coilovers on mine. There's two variants of them V1 and V2 the difference is V1 doesn't have damper adjustment.

I've heard of people droping 2" with the KWs, their adjustable soyou can go stock heighth or take it down 2".

You loose the cushy ride but you also gain a feeling for the road.

Dave is the king of smoke bombs,he's got the best!

I lowered my Charger R/T with H&R springs. I have 22 x 9 inch rims with 265 35 r22 and the only rubbing that happens is when i hit big dips. It still dont rub that bad. I like it lowered.

Thanks Dave for the advice on smoking the tires without the smoke bombs. Thanks mrcho, I might give them H & R springs a try. Everyone else thanks for the feedback as well!
