Did you see B&G has a new flash out for the 5.7? You send them you PCM they'll flash it and send it back to you second day.I think I read the price was 449,Im not real sure what it does but I think it will be researched more .
Man, B&G will do anything $$$
Well not quite anything, but they will:
Revise timing & fuel tables
Raise Shift points
Raise Rev limit RPMs
Remvoe Torque management
Raise Speed limit
Disable MDS
And of course their major disclaimer "This is for Off Road Use Only!"
I think at the 450.00 price your looking at the basic B&G Premium Flash see options here LINK

The superchips guy chimed in on the thread at dodge talk but basically said "I don't know the degree of advance of a 91 tune from stock."
Maybe Ron our superchips guy will see this and will know how far SuperChips advances timing on a 91 tune.
This thinghas some nice features:
It's plug-n-play.
You can advance the timing up to 9 degrees.
You can retard the timing up to 18 degrees, great for boosting.
It doesn't mess w/timing when the engine is below 1800 RPM.
You either pull it out or use the factory switch to return to stock timing.
This can help someone fine tune a car w/mods likeCam, Heads, NO2...
I’m on the edge of getting one of these. I’m waffling because I’m not 100% sure it will work on the 5.7 w/MDS. I’ve e-mailed their tech support and hopefully will get an answer soon.
As far as the SuperChips is concerned I will not utilize the octaneoption but will utilize the rest of it's tuning options.

I was probably way off base there, are you talking how the B&G would differ from SC?
B&G's settings are going to be more aggressive then SC. They can also tune options that SC doesn't. The only down side is it's a one time shot and in my opinion you should really get a "spare" PCM to B&G tune.
I got too much time on my hands this morning. There's a sheet of ice on the roads and the School District closed, I'm at home w/the kido today
