Default Need help with RAK code Radio problems

My dealer has been unable to fix the problems I am having with radio reception. I have the RAK code radio and started having problems with AM reception but it has steadily progressed to FM and AM reception. I have had it in 5 times and each time they have removed the radio (leaving me without a radio) shipped it back to the factory and it always comes back with the same or worse problems. They have also replaced the antenna cable and some sort of box that interfaces the radio and antenna.
Bottom line: Has anyone else had these problems and if so what did you do to correct it?I amtired of taking time off to take the Charger in only to drive around for 2 days without a radio and even when I get it back it's worse.[:@]
Any help appreciated.

I remember a TSB on the rear defroster and radio reception. No time to search for it this morning but it's in a thread here somewhere.

If that doesn't help it's gota be in the antenna or antenna connectionsomewhere.

Here is the thread on the TSB see post #6. https://dodgeforum.com/m_671844/tm.htm

MangoInTX,
Thanks for the info, but it is doing it regardlessif the defroster is on or off. Does anyone know of a way to test/inspect the antenna in the rear window. I noticed they mentioned tinting and I have had the rear window tinted. Do you think they could have cut the foil run for the antenna when installing????[sm=dontgetit.gif]

Thanks, Kirk

Sorry that TSB wasn't any help.

I'm outside my realm here, try posting up in the " Dodge Forums >> Technical Help & Information >> Audio/Visual Electronics" section LINK. I'm sure someone there can answer the question of how to trouble shoot the antenna.
