Sweet, but dude I missed out on that oil cooler mod . More information please...

I assume the normal dip stick would due. Your level should stay the same on the stick, you just having to put more in to fill the capacity of the extra oil cooler and lines that run to and from it. How much did it take to fill it?

Is there a bleeder and/or drain valve on the cooler?

The only way I can see problems arising from is if air gets trapped, doubtful that would happen but fruit for thought.

yeah im gonna find out from the guy who installed it ...if they added oil when they installed it because the dipstick reads normal.the oil cooler is from gs motorsports.it had to be installed vertically instead of horizontally there where fitment issuse because of teh tranny cooler i installed because it came with its own fan but engine temp has not raised above 170 degrees .not sure if thats the oil cooler or the fact that its 20 degrees.. and droping into single digits but im pretty sure it should still be operating where its supposed to be around 214 .so if thats true the cooler is keeping the engine about 40 degrees cooler.but i wont be able to say for sure untill the summer rolls around.but im fairly confident it will hold up as well .i didnt see any bleeder valves . i wasnt there during install and because of its position i cant see the unit to well

Mango, wouldn't the oil that is/was being pumped through the oil cooler drain back into the oil pan when the engine is shut off? If so, and if oil was added to compensate for the additional area and volume of the oil cooler, wouldn't the dip stick read high? I'm just trying to rationalize this in my head. [:@] And it hurts

Given time it probably would, how fast would depend on location of the cooler and how the in/output lines are ran. It's would be a timing thing... Turn the car off, pop the hood and RUN to open and check it
