I will Buy Charger But I want to know R/T or SRT ?

Dear all This my first Forum .. And I would like to inform you how happy I am such a forum through which we can exchange ideas, and particularly car for the popular Dodge. And I have a question or do you think lovers of Dodge whichever is the best (R/T) (SRT-8), or for personal use and long-term.

Yanno, it's no secret across this forum that I hate the new Charger...... I dont deny its performance at all.....I just hate the looks and the name..... but the more I see of this car converted into a coupe....or even a RX-8 styled coupe with 4 doors....the more I like it....

If I had to choose one or the other..... I'd probably go with the R/T myself......it's cheaper, not much slower to begin with....and for less then a base price of an SRT-8....you can have a faster car with some mods...

That’s a subjective question. Personally I love the style of the Charger, w/a family I especially enjoy the 4 doors with a sporty look. If it had two doors I would not have bought it.
If money isn’t an issue pay the gas guzzler tax and get the SRT8, you'll have instant gratification.
If you prefer better MPG and price tag go with the R/T.
As far as performance you can’t go wrong with the SRT8. The R/Ts 5.7 tuning is good right now and will continue to get better. You can choose to stay stock or go to extremes or stay somewhere in the middle.
It's all up to you and what you want.

The SRT is a great car , don`t get me wrong, but save the money you would sped on the SRT and get a R/T and mod it. performance wise with a few mods you can rival a SRT. Grant it you will get to do the SRT Experience and get to drive some monster cars.
I think my choice would be the R/T.

dude depends on money really id say go srt8 pull the motor stroke it and up with a street 426 hemi
...now if money is an issue get the r/t package just a piece of advice make sure it has the road and track package it is included in all the cars .the package makes the car handle totally different.my opinion

If you plan to do lots of mods then get the R/T, if you just going to buy it and drive it as it sits get the SRT8 if the price is not too much for you. I would rather make my R/T faster then a SRT8 and make it look they way I want it so I got the R/T. The only things that are worth paying extra for in the SRT8 is the 6.1ltr and the Brembo brakes. I plan on throwing all the suspension and exhaust away so would be a waste of money for me to get the R/T with the Road Tack package or the SRT8.

I have an RT /RT if your not going to get raped by a stealer get the SRT 8. For the extra cash you get a better brakeing. rear ,trans,and you get a head start on a better motor. everyone her includeing my self if I had the coins would have went the SRT8 road. yes the RT is cheaper but by the time you drop the coins to reach or crach SRT8 proformance you could have bought one. and resale value is better also
