Default New Headers and Cat back

I am the proud owner of new SLP long tuber headers and the cat back SLP Loud mouth 2 exhaust, oh yea a threw in a super chips pwr porgrammer to boot. Hopefully I will get another 25hp to the rear wheels.

I will let you all know how it sounds when it arrives in a week or so.

My question is when the exhaust guys remove my flow master 40 mufflers should I ask for them back?

I paid $115 each for them and I dont want to sell them either for profit. Not sure if I should let the mufflers guys just take them. I am sure some worker there would hook them up w/ thier own ride if they can be used again. But I am unsure.

I would have not problem GIVING them to someone who lives here in Austin instead of the muffler guys getting them.

Sure I would open the trunk and put them inside in a heart beat. Their price doesn't include getting the leftovers, so don't be shy about it.

I've put leftover stuff (sway bars/shocks/struts/exhaust) up "for sale", the price was shipping only. With most of the leftover stuff I knew people that wanted the partslocally and they came by to pick it up or we would meet to hand it off.

SLP loud mouth 2 - is that the louder one, or is the Loud Mouth the louder one? I listened to some sound bites of those and really liked them. But at my age - my hearing being not quite as good as it used to be - I'm thinking of the softer of the two.

Loud Mouth 2 has resonators so it is quieter. Iheard really good things about it. Bladylox got me interested in the SLP headers( many thanks) and I wanted to keep it all SLP. Tybrne is really good on prices. I got the Super Chips prgrammer for $379 not bad.

LM1 is basically straight pipe w/ glass packs.

Age is all in your mind ha!

My guess is that it will throw a code of some kind that translates into an 02 problem.

it will throw a code because it reading the wrong A\Freading,that doesnt mean its bad .In my case we stripped all the threads on one but a few and its only hanging in there by a few.We felt better safe than srry, replace it .

I haven't had any problems where it "threw" a code, but I imagine it would come up under the speedo.
