52 p/u weight

I need a little information to settle a bet. How much does a 1952 Dodge 1/2 ton weigh?

According to Dodge B-Series Trucks by Don Bunn, the gross vehicle weight in 1952 was 4900 lbs so I would say that the empty weight would be 3900 lbs.
