I recently got my hands on a 1956 Dodge pickup. It has a 318 poly in it right now. I am haveing a hell of a time finding parts for it. I cant even seem to find an oil filter for it right now, and am having to use gaskets from lowes just to keep the oil filter canister on the fire wall from leaking. Door handles on ebay are going for almost 100 bucks once it is said in done. Any way i am looking for any helpful info onthis truck that anyone can spare. My current wish list to do is change the drum to disc brakes. Yank the engine and rebuild with all new gaskets and paint, and an interior. Other than that the truck is solid and runs great, it's just this little annoying stuff that gets in the way. Thanks for your help.
