I owned a 79 power wagon stepside in high school and sold it like an idiot. Wish I could find another. Pic below is exactly what it looked like except green.
I would love to have one...... but, I needed more passenger space when I was last vehicle shopping.... That one looks like the rear axle is sitting to far forward....and on compression, that fender is gonna suffer.
Rarest truck, Well I would have to say mine is a contender. I bought this truck from a used car dealer in the early 90's. Brakes hardly worked, Engine had seen better days. Fixed the brakes and a lot of other things. Rebuilt the motor with some go fast goodies and it was my daily driver. One day I was driving along and another just like mine pulled up beside me. The driver waved me over and we stopped and talked. His was exactly like mine but somebody put 1 ton axles in it. Both trucks were parked together on the side of the road and the other driver took a few pictures(film) of the two together. I looked at his vin # and his was very close to mine. At the time I didn't think to much of this but now i wished I would have gotten a copy of the pics he took. I have looked threw all the "Adult Toys from Dodge" brochures, Searched the internet, Been to all kind of Mopar events and have not seen another one ever since! If any of you have any info on how these trucks came to be I would like to know! The design is PAINT not a decal. Pic is from a few years ago, The dirty one was from when it was my daily driver.
That is a sexy beast. Wish I had my 79 power wagon stepside I bought in high-school in 98 for 500 from my dad's friend and rebuilt the motor in. It was a solid truck. It needed tlc but man I shouldn't have sold it.
