Default 1976 D100 pickup

I have a 1976 D-100 pickup, bought it last year, as I needed a pickup, for light hauling, it wasnt running, need a fuel pump and ignition switch, body was faded out pretty bad, after I got it running, I decided to try to buff out the two toned factory paint job, white on lower half copper upper half.

Boy was I surprised, it buffed out nicely, so I had to put a couple coats of wax on it too!

I then added a pair of bucket seats and consoul out of a dodge van, as the old bench seat was shot, I also put in new carpet, a golden earth tone sculped carpet.

Turns out to be a nice ride, getting 10 mpg around town, I am pleased!

I still cant believe how good this old truck looks.

I am not pro any one make of vehilce, but I do have my favorites of each make, 59/60 ford pickup. my 1976 dodge of coarse, 1960s dodge any car with the slant 6! 1969 firebird, any silverado pickup 1990 and after, Buick park ave any year! 1971 ford mach 1 would have to be my dream car as I never owned one, but always wanted one!

Well theres my first post here, will be around from time to time, some day may sell my 1976 dodge pickup, as I want a 4 wheel drive, later Bruce

Hey, brand new member here, with my own 73,D100 project.Know what you mean about LMC, theyre only interested in old Chev and Ford or new
Mopar. Just discovered PartsGeek, and they seem to have tons of goodies for our truck (mine a slant 6), and cheap prices- electrical, etc.
I'm loving the search and rescue. Mike
