Whats it worth to you???
My dad has a 1964 monza courvair, in mint condition, the owner before him kept it in the garage. Its black with red interior and a white convertible top, the thing i love is the engine is in the trunk. how much would he get if he sold it?
If he finds the right person, there's no telling. Does he ever drive the thing? A friend had one and took me for a ride in it. I thought Ralph Nader was right. I never road in that car again.
Not a big demand for them. They tend to have a cult-like following; the fans of them love them to death, but they don't get much recognition or respect outside their own clique. He'd have to find one of those fanatics to really appreciate it. It does sound like a pretty nice example of them, so he should search out a Corvair lovers website or forum, and try his luck there.
The '65s were a big improvement, with a multi-link rear suspension copied from the E-type Jaguar (same as Corvette) and the new body style...
However, Nader was wrong. I would ride in one any time. If you can't drive a Corvair you can't drive.
