Default 66 Dodge Camper Special

My brother has a 66 Dodge camper special. He recently rebuilt the engine and was told he needed a torq sequince for the lifters.I myself never knew you had a sequince but if there is one, could someone let me know what it is?

which engine? i am going to guess a 318 which is the scallop valve cover, ie the last year, but still a good engine. it is a mechanical lifter, so the lash adjuster has to be backed off, before running the bolts down. best to talk to a mechanical lifter expert. NOT ME.

Don't know of a torque for the lifters but there is for the rocker shaft bolts.
With valve clearance screw backed off just run the bolts down evenly a little at a time.
After all are down solidly torque from the center out.
