Motor rebuild research
HELP!
I HAVE A 67 D100 WITH A 3 ON THE TREE. BARE BONES TRUCK. IT GOT A 78 318 WITH THE 67 INTAKE AND CARB ON IT. I WANT TO USE THE BLOCK TO BUILD THE "HOTTEST" BUDGET MOTOR AND STILL BE ABLE TO LAUNCH MY BOAT WITH IT. I PLAN ON REPLACING THE TRANNY WITH A 904.
mY QUESTION IS, WHERE/HOW DO I FIGURE OUT WHAT CAM, PISTONS, HEADS ETC... TO BUY?

Decide where you want your power band, what octane gas you are willing to spring for, and go from there. Keep in mind, that you can build a motor for low-end grunt, or top-end power, but, trying to get both, will get you neither.
