Default What about a 77 dodge 100 4X4

I'm look'n at a 77 dodge 100 4X4 pickup, automatic. It has about 48k original miles on it. Engine is a 318, 4 bbl, with headers and chrome. New under dash a/c and custom bench seat. Paint (light green) is a little dull. But body is straight and solid. He said it had never been off the road. Has chrome wheels/w babymoons. Pretty sharp. The guy is ask'n $5K. Does this sound like a good deal? Our they worth anything, because, it is right at 30 years old?

Thanks for the reply vestpuzzel1. I wish some of the others that hit this post would at least give their opinion.
When is a vehicle considered vintage? In your opinion, would a truck of this age, in good shape, be worth $5,000?

Not a lot of demand for that type and vintage vehicle... I would think 5K would be top dollar for it. If you like it and feel it's worth it, go for it.... just don't expect to be able to flip it after a short time and make anything on it; I think it's probably about 1000-1500 high, in my opinion.
