You want to have the O2 sensers on the other side of the cross over.And if they are unheated O2 sensers they will fail at the cold end of the exhaust pipe.Sorry delete that I was thinking of the aftermarket stuff.

It's important that the catalytic converters and their associated downstream O2 sensors always be in the exhaust stream (before the cutouts). Otherwise you're guaranteed to see the Check Engine Light (MIL). Unless you don't mind having to constantly reset the MIL, do not use the cutouts to bypass any of the emissions equipment: use them to bypass only the muffler and tail pipe.
