Default Trany promblem. 1st and reverse slipping. Help?

I've got a 2000 dakota r/t. It's got about 130k miles and slightly modified motor and tranny. I believe it's a 46RE, but I could be wrong. I burned the tranny up nearlly 2 years ago. When I had it rebuilt, I put a Transgo shift kit and kevlar bands and clutches back in it. The work was done by a certified chrysler trans mechanic, worked at the local dodge dealership. I got the TV cable adjusted pretty close, I think it stillshifted too early tho...This thing ran great till about a month ago. Fluid checks good, good color and doesn't smell burnt. But it's slipping in 1st gear and reverse. Is this just a band adjustment needed, clutches, or something else? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

if I recall that box is a derivative of the old a904 box, it should just be a band adjustment, I take it there's no other problems?

Possibly the syncro's.....I was told that if you rest your hand on the shifter it will shorten the live time of the syncros
