Default can someone please help me?!?!

ok well i have posted this befor but i have made some changes but nothing seems to work. so i had this knocking sound in my 01 dakota 4x4 3.9L so i took my truck to dodge to figure out what exactley was wrong with it, they said i needed a new thermostat and a water pump, and recamended that i change the spark plugs, plug wires, distributer cap and rotor. so i did all of that. it drove fine for a couple days to and from work and then on friday i went to go out and drove it a little further and the sound came back. so today i flushed out the radiator and it is fine but the sound still seems to be there. now the sound only comes on when you push the gas down and then if you hammer it the sound goes away. does anyone out there have any idea what this could be? and also the guys at dodge said the internal engine was fine. someone please help me???

Well my oldNeon that I use to have did this sometimes.....I put better gas in it for a while, and it went away. Dont always use the cheapest gas....even though right now its tough to say that. Of course that was my Neon, your truck could be a little different. You could always try it out I guess.

I hope it works.....otherwise I'll feel like an idiot/******* for telling you to put more expensive gas in a gas hog.
