Installing RB1 in 04 QC...help!
Howdy!
I'm installing an RB1 into my 04 Dakky QC, and I'm stuck at the first step--figuring out how to remove enough trim to get the old radio out...
It -looks- like the square surround trim around the radio and A/C -should- come out, but I haven't been able to cram anything into that seam--is this the right approach, or do I need to pull the entire dashboard (from the left door to the glove box)?

If it is like the 03 and am sure it is. You have to remove the dash from the l/side over, couple of screws in gage top & like 3 in plate under steering col. take bottom plate off & pull on upper part of dash . Disconn. a couple switch harnesses & it is all open. Not as hard to do as it sounds after you get into it.
