Alright yall this is the dillio, i currently have a '94 Jeep Wrangler thats an off-roading beast! Now that i have that done it is time for my need for Speed! So now i am doing resreach on which truck would be the best for me to race with! So i was wondering how much gas milage would i be getting with a Dodge Daktoa cause that does concern me because of the fact that i need my truck to take me back and forwth to college cause i commucate to college! And thats where the other part comes in i am a poor college student! but ill always spend more to get a better product! plz let me know how much milage ill be getting! also plz vote on the three options that i gave you. I am interested in all these of these trucks.

 

i cant say that anything on the list is in the same league as the dakotas. Im not only saying that as an owner...but as a person who shopped just a little while ago. s10s...tiny, weak...and only good for mini truckin people (who knows what the point of that is anyway...) the yotas only possible competition would be the trd version with a supercharger. as long as you are talkin about a 2wd version...you can get a dak with an 8 fairly cheap, and with tons of mods to make it fast enough to hang with some vettes if youve got enough money[8D] my 2 cents.....

 

some dude said his stock S-10 beat his friends 5.9 R/T somehow i dont think that is true cause the R/T has some mods to it! what do you guys think?
And what is the best way to get the best fuel effientcy from a daktoa?

 

umm...im callin a big pile of bull...unless the 5.9 didnt know how to drive, or that they were racing... as for mileage...i get about 19 hgwy with almost stock 4.7...from ny to pa...if you really are that concerned about mileage...get a small yota...still hauls ****, but just wont do it in style or speedily...

i have the 5.9 and i get anywhere from 235 to 250 miles per gallon on a 20 gallon tank. not bad but it could be better.

 

you dont mean 235 to 250 miles per gallon you mean 235 to 250 per tank. so thats 11.75 to 12.5 per gallon! now that really stinks. My jeep wrangler right now gets 18 miles to the gallon.

 

yeah i meant tank not per gallon but i wish it was per gallon.
