hi all, im new here (obviously) and ive got a 99 RT. im trying to find some smaller rims for my truck (yeah, yeah, i know i should be looking for BIGGER ones) ive got 17s on there now. The tires ive got on there now (255/55R17s) are far too expensive for me at around $250 a piece. i really need a complete set of new tires, including spare, so i know i cant afford that. what do you guys have on your trucks as per rims and tires? any specific brands to stay away from or head towards? any help would be awesome, thanks!

I was actually wondering if i could get 15s on my truck. the factory rims are 15s (my dads got a 99 dakota sport and HIS truck has 15s but he doesnt want to trade with me). every tire/rim dealer ive been to says that its pracitcally impossible to find smaller rims for my truck (oh, it needs high performance blah blah blah...). its a 6 bolt, so i dont know if thats WHY its such a pain in the **** or what. id surely be interested in trading my rims for yours. i can take pictures of my rims on my truck presently, but it probably wont be until tomorrow at least. would i get the tires with the rims as well?

no 15s will fit, i have a 98 r/t with 5 bolt but the rotor size should be the same still, 15s do make it pretty damn close the callaper(if i spelt it right) but they do fit, their just saying that cause they know how expensive the tires are for those rims, you will notice alot more sway i would call it though if you dont get a nice solid low profile/performance tire, haha i tend to take corners a lot faster with my r/t but not so much now with the 15s because you feel a lot of roll now in the truck
