new seats wiring diagram
just got some "new" heated/pwr. seats out of a '02 Durango for my '02 Dakota that just has the basic seat. anyone experienced in a swap like this and what it takes to make electrical connections? or do you know where i can find a decent wiring diagram?
Before you dig too deep... Remove your driver's seat, and check under the carpet - there should be a slit in the carpet in the middle of where the seat was... Most trucks have the wire underneath the driver's seat regardless of whether it came with a power seat from the factory. As far as the passenger side goes you're on your own since Dakotas never came with dual power seats, but you could probably just splice into the wires from the driver's seat and run them under the carpet to the passenger side.
It wasn't to difficult. spliced into drivers side for the power and had to run a wire to the dash for the heat control. Dealer was helpless on getting a wire diagram but i did get one from a mechanic friend.
Any chance You can tell me which wires go to Accessory power under the dash. I have the seat wired in for power off the Driver seat and the Heat controls conected but I was wondering if you can tell me which wires run up to Pwr, Ground, Acc. Or which Wiring Dia you used.

Try to ask you to the nearest dealer! [/align]
