Hi all, I know this has been discussed to death but a seach didn't tell me anything.

I went to the junk yard today and took a V8 throttle body off of a '93 to use on my '94 v6. I noticed that the thottle cables were different at the ends so I tried to remove the cable from the 93. I couldn't figure out how to do it without breaking the cable. My question is, if I got a v8 tb off a '94, would the throttle cable hook up the same so Ican use my stock cable? Thanks in advance.

 

Or can someone explain to my how to remove the throttle cable from a '93 v8?

 

unbolt the gas pedal and it comes off that end, slide it through the firewall and then take off the end thats on the TB. you will need the V8 cable because the ends are different.
