Default 95 Dakota Flasher Unit

The flashers on my Dakota are blinking real fast. The hazards work fine and all the bulbs are OK, so I assume it is the flasher unit. Can anyone tell me where this is?

Thanks

Glenn,

You are correct in assuming that it is the flasher unit. There are two seperate flashers in the dakota - one for the four ways and one for the two ways. Both of these are round and are located with the fuses under the dash on the driver's side. I recommend getting an electronic flasher rather than the mechanical type. This will give you a consistant flash rate, even when you are flashing trailer lights.
