my 01cc rt has a interminant bake fire The truck is " Falling on it's face " it sounds like someone hits the block w/ asledge hammer when this happens
occus under normal accell and ca happen when reved from idol NO codes and very hard to dup problem once it occures seemes to happen around the time the motor warms up and leans out but this has happend after running for more than an hour

it does not hapen often but when it does it's quite embarocing Please if u can help any advice is much apreciated????!!!!!!!!

 

first advice....spell check.

as for the condition, you might have a bad coil, or a plug or two could be fouled...pending mileage or wear. just a stab in the dark

 

i have a 99 rt club cab. my coil that is mounted off the front of the engine occasionally arced from th post to ground(through the boot). all i did was replace the wire and add some thermal grease to seal out any water that could get into the boot.
