If you are doing the work yourself, check out the Lambo Door kit at Autoloc. Not a simple mod though...

Jokar~

Like saint said, the lambo doors will not be a simple mod. But as far as the tonneau cost, that really depends if which one you get. Here's a few things to think about

A. 1.Hard Tonneau
2.Soft Tonneau

B. Hard Tonneau
1.Brand (Lund, ext.)
2.Can be pricey
3.Painted to match color of truck
4.Prices range between $200-$800 (depending where you get it, my friend even got one for $100)
5.Harder to install, and takes time to remove.
6.Can be heavy
7.If wanting to use entire bed (to carry a 4-wheeler, etc.), you'd have a hard time removing, and a pain at that.

C. Soft Tonneau
1.Brand (Lund, Downey, Truxedo, etc.)
2.Snap
a.Metal Snap
b.Plastic Snap
3.Velcro
4.Roll-up (not including velcro)
5.Tilt (able to tilt like a hard tonneau, but those can be pricey as well!)
6."Low-Profile"
7."High-Profile"
8.Price ranges between $100-$600 (depending where you get it)
9.Very easy to install and to remove from truck.
10.Once removed, entire bed is open like normal!
11.Styling is lower compared to hard top usually.
12.Good gas mileage

Just a few things to think about. I may have forgotten a few things, but there are most of the facts. I know more the soft top considering I have one and love it! Easy on and off! Looks good (not as good as a hard top the same color of the truck would look). Keeps things dry and out of the elements. I love it!

There ya go!

Hello Jokar
hoobasta4 is right on but also note if you have a Quad cab with the 5'3" bed the hard tonneau will run you more because it only fits that truck - mine was $1,200 painted from the factory to match the truck..
Also if you live where I do (Upstate NY) and it's cold 7mo. out of the year the soft one's are hard to resnap when it's cold out. My wifes old ranger had a "top off the line for 96" soft tonneau and there was times I'd hang off the back with pliers just to get the reach so she could snap it in place!
Just two more points to think about.

another manufacturer you might want to check out is a company called hingenuity. one of my family members has a soft hinged cover from them and she swears by it. the material doesn't break down like other soft covers do. she also said that she doesn't have a problem with it in the winter( we live in mass.). just another option to look for.
