What year Dakota were you going to put one in? I believe in the 2nd Generation sub-forum there is one in the FAQ. Also there may be a few swapped into a Durango.

Is it a modern hemi? If so, yeah its been done a couple times. In the second gen sticky there is a link to a good one like Crazy said.

Sure anything is possible if you got enough money, time and know how.
Start with about $10,000.00 you need an engine, transmission, wire harness, computers (Modules) and drive shaft. Then enough time to possibly have to cut weld the body to be able to fit the engine and trans with all the mounts. And then you will need to know how to get the truck wired right to get everything to work and the A/C. And if other things like the radio, guages, fuel system, ignition and so on don't work you need to know how to diagnosis and fix those problems.

I personally think its a waste of money seeming we can build up the existing magnum V8's to incredible power numbers. It should be done for show only really as it's a lot of aggravation to fit one in.

I can't get pictures on this sight for some reason. It says they're big."First time Iv'e ever had that complaint"...??
I can give instructions, and if someone out there can tell me how to reduce my picture size ,I'll put the pix on too..I'll try again tonight.but even if the pictures don't upload I'll still tell ya how I did it...
I can send these pictures through email,to those interested."let me know"...
