1989 dodge Dakota 3.9L starting problems
I am having some issues starting my 89 Dakota. I am getting fire to the positive side of the coil when I turn the key on. I'm not getting any fuel out of the injectors. When I do get fire, it's for about 3 seconds then it goes away. Any suggestions? I have been reading about bad splices or a bad ASD relay. Thanks, Paul
check the fuel pressure on it, it sounds like its not getting enough fuel to stay running,if its firing off the plug wires that's not ground wire or a coil bad on it,you may have a fuel pump or relay going bad on it,when it does this check it for fire at the plugs when it won't fire off, good luck
