Questions.
I have a dodge dakota 4x4 4.7 v8, and I took it to the shop almost all this week, got an alignment done, tires rotated, new bushing on both sides, new power steering hose, and new flow master turn downs put on.. And I still can hear a poping noise in the front whenever I stop and then go again and rattling noise I think coming from the front.. Would really like to know what Yall think could be the issue?
What year so we can move this to the correct section? I cannot assume your username indicates the year of the truck as it could also mean this is your 4th Dakota. You mention nothing about checking the other front end parts that could cause this: ball joints, CV axles, tie rod ends, sway bar bushings and links....etc.
Good morning! I am new here! I have a few problems with my SUV and would like some advice and or help. One, my HVAC wiring harness keep burning out for a lack of a better phrase, where the blower keeps going on and off and I have to play with the wires to get it to go back on. Second, I've had both upper and lower ball joints and shocks replaced and still whenever I go over some bumps, I hear a clanging sound of metal banging metal. Are these problems something that might be covered under recall or lemon laws? How can I "fix" the problems without having to spend a ton of cash on them? Help! You may also contact me via email, savcon2@hotmail.com. Thanks in advance for your help.
